As part of its strategic expansion plan to open more than 50 hotels across Europe over the next five years, Starwood Hotels & Resorts is making its debut in Slovenia with its Four Points by Sheraton brand: the Four Points by Sheraton Ljubljana Mons will open in 2014. The 114-room establishment in Slovenia's capital city is owned by Kranjska Investicijska Družba d.o.o."With a steady increase in international arrivals over the last few years and its strategic location at the crossroads of main European cultural and trade routes, the time is right to enter Slovenia", explains Michael Wale, President, Starwood Hotels & Resorts, Europe, Africa and Middle East.The Four Points by Sheraton Ljubljana Mons will feature a restaurant and bar; nearly 850 square meters of meeting and event space, including a large ballroom, two meeting rooms and three boardrooms; a fitness center and parking facilities.
