
Starwood Hotels & Resorts is expanding in Thailand, where the group already operates 21 establishments, via its Sheraton brand. The Sheraton Hua Hin Pranburi Villas will be the fifth property of the brand in the country, after the Royal Orchid Sheraton Hotel & Towers, Sheraton Hua Hin Resort & Spa, Sheraton Krabi Beach Resort, and Sheraton Pattaya Resort.This development represents an ongoing relationship with owner Honor Business Company Limited, which also owns the Sheraton Hua Hin Resort & Spa. The property was converted and rebranded to now house the 55 villas."Through its conversion-friendly strategy, Starwood offers owners the opportunity to reposition existing properties and affiliate themselves with strong global brands", comments Lothar Pehl, Senior Vice President, Operations and Global Initiatives and Regional Vice President, Thailand, Cambodia and Vietnam; and Japan, Korea and Guam, Starwood Hotels & Resorts.In addition to its 55 villas, the property also offers a private pool and spa, a restaurant & bar, and the Sheraton brand's signature Link@Sheraton experienced with Microsoft and a Link Café. In 2014, an additional F&B venue, main pool, fitness center, and Kids' Club will also be available.
