Shangri-La is expanding in Europe with their second property on the continent, the Shangri-La Bosphorus, Istanbul, Turkey.

After its European debut in 2010 with the Shangri-La Paris, the hotel group has opened their second establishment on the continent with the Shangri-La Bosphorus, Istanbul set on the European side of the Bosphorus Strait in Istanbul, Turkey.The hotel offers 186 rooms including 17 suites on the site of a former tobacco warehouse from the 1930s between the Dolmabahce Palace and Naval Museum. With a foot in Europe, the hotel also looks on to the Asian shores of the Bosphorus.
