Room Mate enters the Netherlands with the opening of its first property in Amsterdam. The Room Mate Aitana will be located in the center of the city and have 284 rooms and suites in a 13-floor building. It will also have seven meeting rooms and a restaurant available for its customers.The opening of the Room Mate Aitana somewhat accelerates the group's expansion on a global scale. During the next two years, Room Mate has a goal to open 10 new properties in trendy destinations such as Istanbul, Rotterdam, Milan, Rome, Bogota, as well as in markets where it is already present such as Barcelona and New York. The group currently has a portfolio of 18 hotels, representing 1,400 rooms and divided among 12 international destinations.
