With these 2 newbuild superyachts the Ritz-Carlton Yacht Collection can further position itself as an innovator within the industry.
The Ritz-Carlton Yacht Collection announced the expansion of its fleet with the addition of Ilma and Luminara. These superyachts are expected to sail in 2024 and 2025, respectively. They will be constructed in collaboration with worldrenowned shipyard, Chantiers de l’Atlantique in Sant-Nazaire, with an option for additional vessels.
The production as well as the development will be carried out by Chantiers de l’Atlantique, including enhanced design and sustainability features. These superyachts will fit into the ultra-luxury sector. This announcement comes at a right time as The Ritz-Carlton Yacht Collection prepares to launch its first superyacht this summer, named Evrima.

These superyachts feature 228 suites, each with its own private terrace. Ilma and Luminara will also have spacious upper suite categories measuring up to 100m². The interior designed will be imagined by London-based architect and design firm, AD Associates, and award-winning lighting designer, DPA. Regarding the exterior design, Aivan, a Finland-based yacht stylist, well be in charge taking its inspiration from aesthetics of private yacht design.
The onboard exoerience will reflect the quality for which the brand is recognized among the world. Indeed, Ilma and Luminara will provide nearly one staff member for every guest. These superyachts will include 5 restaurants, 6 bars, a wine vault, an expanded marina with a new mezzanine, a Ritz-Carlton Spa, and a special space for Ritz Kids programming.
Sustainability is not sed aside since each vessel will be fitted with four dual-fuel engines and utilize liquefied natural gas (LNG) as its main fuel source. Also the yachts will include advanced water treatment systems, an efficient heat recovery loop for example. The main goal is to minimize environmental impact.
Chantiers de l’Atlantique is very proud to design and build these medium size – ultra luxury cruise vessels and initiate a new partnership with The Ritz-Carlton Yacht Collection.
