The Ritz-Carlton Hotel Company has entered Austria, choosing the capital city of Vienna to open its first hotel.

The Ritz-Carlton Hotel Company has opened its first hotel in Austria. The Ritz-Carlton, Vienna, is the group’s ninth luxury hotel in Europe and its 80th hotel worldwide. The 202 room hotel is located on the central Schubertring Boulevard, within a building encompassing four 19th century palaces. Amongst other amenities, the hotel offers a 3,300-square-foot ballroom.The group plans to further increase its presence in Europe, where it sees potential in the tourism sector.
