Ritz Carlton has announced an additional property in China, in the former capital of Nanjing. The hotel group has signed an agreement with Nanjing New Universe Real Estate Development Co Ltd to open the Ritz Carlton Nanjing in the heart of a central business district, 30 minutes from the airport and known as the region's cosmopolitan center with several department stores and luxury fashion houses."Nanjing represents a strategic growth opportunity for The Ritz-Carlton as we double our growth in China", says Victor Clavell, Vice President, Asia Pacific. "Spectacular hotels in prime locations with the right partners will allow us to create even more new and exciting experiences for our global affluent guests".The Ritz Carlton Nanjing features 297 guestrooms and 32 suites. The property will offer extensive meetings and events space, including a ballroom and seven function rooms. For leisure, a luxury spa and fitness center is also featured. The F&B offer includes four restaurants and bars.
