New £20 million Hotel Development for Edinburgh

Development group De Vere is to build a new multi-billion pound development in the Scottish capital of Edinburgh.

De Vere Village Urban Resorts has announced it is to develop a 120-room hotel in the north of Edinburgh as part of a new £20 million complex that will also feature a health and leisure centre and a conference centre. The development will be located where the vacant Helix House office building currently stands. It is hoped the project will provide boost Edinburgh’s tourism industry. At least 120 new jobs are expected to be created.The new “village urban resort” is part of a series 15 development projects the company is planning across Great Britain including at Pacific Quay in Glasgow.
