Steigenberger Hotel Group announced the opening of the new InterCityHotel Ingolstadt in Bavaria, Germany.

A new InterCityHotel opened its doors in Ingolstadt in Bavaria. In total, this will be the 36th hotel operated by the Steingenberger's brand InterCityHotel, and the fourth in Bavaria. It is a 144-rooms hotel located within the immediate vicinity of the Central Station, the city centre and the Audi Forum. The upper-mid scale hotel has been designed by the Munich-based company Höldrich Architekten. Interior design is by Dreesen & Partner of Düsseldorf and Burbacher Objekt Consult GmbH & Co. KG of Burbach. The investor for the hotel project is the Luxembourg-based firm JP Commercial XII S. à. R. l."Ingolstadt's central position within Bavaria and its proximity to the metropolitan regions of Munich and Nuremberg make it the perfect location for a new InterCityHotel and the optimum addition to a brand portfolio which is already highly attractive", commented Puneet Chhatwal, CEO of Steigenberger Hotels AG.
