In 2015, the joint venture will culminate in the first golf hotel management project operated by Marriott International in the Greater China region.

Mission Hills China, including the Mission Hills Golf Clubs, Mission Hills Residences, as well as Mission Hills Hotels & Resorts brands, is a key player in China’s upcoming sports and leisure industry. They own and operate Mission Hills Shenzhen and Mission Hills Resort Hainan. With their expertise in the area, Marriott International will operate their first golf hotel management project in the Greater China region.The project will open under the Ritz-Carlton brand in 2015, representing a 1.6 million euro investment. The hotel will offer 180 rooms and 20 villas. Dr. Ken Chu, Chairman and CEO of Mission Hills Group, describes the project as “icing on Mission Hills' Haikou development" which offers 300 shops and Hainan's first genuine ice skating for “the ultimate golf and holiday experience."
