Meliá Hotels will manage the Real Madrid Residence where the first team of Real Madrid stays and trains before all matches at their home stadium.

Melia Hotels International has won a contract to manage the Madrid residence of the first team of Real Madrid. This is where the team stays and trains prior to home games. PHG Hotels & Resorts acted as a hotel advisor to Real Madrid during this process. The group selected the Spanish hotelier out of a list of Asian, European, and American operators in boutique and luxury niches.According to Gabriel Escarrer, vice president and CEO of Meliá Hotels International, "The opportunity to manage the home of Real Madrid, the best ambassador for the promotion of Madrid and Spain, and working with the best players in the world, has been a challenge that our company dreamed to assume."
