It will be the group's third hotel in the Andalusian city. Located in the centre of Malaga, it will open at the end of 2024.

It is the second Meliá hotel located in the historic centre close to the tourist attractions. The hotel will also offer a sea view to its guests. It will feature a convention centre, a fitness centre and on the top floor, an inifinity pool near a bar and restaurant. All these facilities are also designed to welcome the inhabitants of Malaga.

The hotel will propose 128 5-star rooms, a proposition made possible after negotiations with the city council of Malaga.

Meliá has 3 hotels in Málaga. The Sol Guadalmar, which also offers a convention centre and the Hotel Málaga Alameda Centro Affiliated by Meliá with two meeting rooms.

This opening is part of Meliá's strategy to increase the part of its premium offer to welcome clients with a better purchasing power.
