Marriott International will manage three additional hotels in Mecca under a long-term agreement with Jabal Omar Development Co.

Scheduled to open in two phases beginning in 2014, the hotels are the 636-key JW Marriott Hotel Makkah, the 540-key Makkah Marriott Hotel and the 432-key Courtyard by Marriott Makkah.Located directly on the Haram overlooking the Grand Mosque’s plaza in central Mecca, Makkah Marriott will open in the first phase, followed by the JW Marriott- and Courtyard-branded properties approximately a year later.
