After more than ten years' residence in the Renaissance London Chancery Court Hotel, Marriott International has announced that "as a result of an amicable and mutual decision" it plans to end its management contract with New World Hotel Management, the owner of the 356-room hotel.

The agreement is to come to an end on 11 June 2011. "Both parties are working together to ensure a seamless transition", said a spokesperson for Marriott. The group's Renaissance brand will still have a presence in the UK's capital, however, as the group's 245-room St Pancras Renaissance London Hotel is due to open next month.
