After a $15 million renovation project, the Starwood Hotels & Resorts has opened the Palacio del Inka hotel under its Luxury Collection brand. With this opening, the group now operates six hotels and resorts in the country, including three under the Luxury Collection brand.The hotel offers 203 luxury guestrooms including 17 Casa de los Cuatro Bustos Suites across from the Koricancha ruins in Cusco. The spa offers traditional treatment in the historic Incan capital, including a signature treatment called Qoricancha which involves wrapping the skin in 24 karat gold. The propery also features four events spaces which can accomodate up to 500 guests.
