
Kempinski Hotels is to re-enter the Indian hospitality market through a new management contract with Ambience Group.
Kempinski has formed a new alliance with Delhi-based development company Ambience to bring The Kempinski Ambience Hotel Delhi. The new establishment will be located on the eastern side of Delhi and feature 480 guestrooms and suites. Kempinski will operate the hotel whist Ambience will own the property. The hotel group has already been present in India, through a marketing contract with The Leela which was broken earlier this year.Kempinski’s portfolio of luxury hotels includes the Çiragan Palace Kempinski in Istanbul, the Kempinski Hotel Moika 22 in St Petersburg, and the Hotel Adlon Kempinski Berlin. The new hotel in Delhi is set to open later this year, as is the new Kempinski Hotel in Nairobi and the Hotel Nikol'skaya Kempinski Moscow.
