The Epihpany Hotel in Palo Alto, California, will be the latest project to join Joie de Vivre Hotels. The boutique hotel, opening in early 2014, takes inspiration from its Silicon Valley surroundings and the start-up tech companies there. It will offer 86 rooms near Facebook's first headquarters and a short walk from Stanford University."A playful, authentic property full of imagination and aligned with the local lifestyle, The Epiphany is poised to be an emblem of the Joie de Vivre ethos", says Niki Leondakis, CEO of Commune Hotels & Resorts, Joie de Vivre's parent company. The establishment will especially cater to the business and technical needs of the area, with wireless access and docking stations for mobile devices in every guestroom. The mezzanine level will offer meeting and co-working spaces, including The Accelerator work lounge and Tinderbox boardroom.
