After a long dispute with Neue Dorint GmbH, in Berlin, InterContinental signed a contract with new owner and put back its brand on the emblematic building
After a long dispute with Neue Dorint GmbH, owner of three hotel buildings in Germany, Berlin, Cologne and Düsseldorf, InterContinental decided to drop its banner from the hotel under its management, due to lack of renovation and investment. The situation just changed recently in Berlin, where Neue Dorint GmbH is withdrawing from its lease agreement completely. The new tenant of the lease, Union Investment, has just signed a new management contract with InterContinental, back on the Berlin hotel scene. Discussions might resume for the two other hotels in Cologne and Düsseldorf.
