InterContinental Hotels Group (IHG) continues its growth trajectory in Europe with the signing of two properties – Holiday Inn & Suites Budapest Centrale and voco Stockholm Kista.

Holiday Inn & Suites Budapest Centrale:

IHG adds another hotel to its Hungarian portfolio with the signing of Holiday Inn & Suites Budapest Centrale. Slated to open in late 2026, this 170-room property will be located in the XIV district of Budapest, directly above the Puskas Ferenc Stadion metro station.

The hotel, will feature 25 long-stay suites with kitchenettes, an Open Lobby, restaurant, lobby bar, meeting room, fitness center, while it will boast and some of the key brand hallmarks such as Kids Stay and Eat Free. Furthermore, IHG collaborates with trusted partners Chain Bridge Ventures Kft. and Mogotel Hotel Group for this project.

voco Stockholm Kista:

IHG marks its re-entry into the Swedish market with the signing of voco Stockholm Kista. This 201-room property, adds to the voco hotels' portfolio, is expected to open in the second half of 2024.

The hotel is located in Kista, often referred to as Sweden's Silicon Valley and offers five personalized meeting and events spaces. Moreover, the property will boast a restaurant, lobby bar, fitness room, rooftop spa with an indoor swimming pool and a rooftop garden.
