This exclusive agreement between Hyatt and Lindner Hotels AG, a German hotel company, is part of Hyatt's growth strategy and marks the entry of the JdV by Hyatt brand into Germany.
As a result of the collaboration, more than 30 hotels in seven European countries are expected to join the Hyatt brand portfolio and become part of the World of Hyatt loyalty programme in the near future. The majority of the properties are expected to be rebranded as JdV by Hyatt.
Lindner Hotels AG operates a variety of properties under the LindnerHotels & Resorts and me and all hotels brands in major cities in Germany and Central and Eastern Europe. The agreement will expand the Hyatt brand's presence in key markets, including Düsseldorf and Frankfurt.
Lindner's portfolio will expand Hyatt's lifestyle footprint with the addition of approximately 5,500 rooms, providing even more options for Hyatt guests and World of Hyatt members.
We are excited to continue Hyatt's growth in Europe through this strategic collaboration with Lindner. The addition of Lindner's hotel portfolio will significantly expand Hyatt's brand footprint in Germany and allow our guests, and ultimately our World of Hyatt members, to discover new destinations in Europe including Kiel, Leipzig, Sylt, Bratislava and Interlaken. We are grateful for the trust that the Linder team has placed in us and we are delighted to strengthen our offering through the strategic investments that Linder is making.
Mark Hoplamazian, President and CEO of Hyatt
We are delighted to have such a strong international brand on our side in Hyatt, with our shared focus on high quality and a holistic approach to hospitality. This type of collaboration is truly unique in the German market. As part of the JdV by Hyatt brand, Lindner remains a strong brand with its own identity and corporate independence, now assisted by the power of Hyatt's global brand awareness and world-class sales and marketing capabilities.
