IHG is prepared to introduce their Hotel Indigo brand to Hong Kong this month after long planning, with 138 guestrooms and suites in the Wan Chai neighborhood.
Hotel Indigo Hong Kong Island is owned by Tai Hung Fai Enterprise Co. LTD, while operated by IHG. The 138-room hotel is housed in a 29-storey building with a gold wrap-around dragon motif. As all Indigo hotels, Indigo Hong Kong Island is specifically designed to reflect the neighborhood in which it is located. To bring the Wan Chain neighborhood within the walls of the hotel, rooms feature hand-made mosaic walls with local landmarks and designs, while others have locally made statues of Wan Chai-born kung fu master Lam Jo.The hotel also features the all-day Café Post, a Chinese tea house with a sunken garden, a 24-hour gym, meeting facilities, a comfortable, modern library, and a rooftop glass-bottomed infinity pool.
