
InterContinental Hotel Group is expanding its lifestyle brand on the Indonesian market and announced a contract with PT Bali Perkasa Sukses for the development of its first Hotel Indigo in Bali. The Hotel Indigo Bali Seminyak should open its 280 rooms in 2015.The Hotel Indigo Bali Seminyak will thus join the ranks of other Balinese properties operated by the IHG group: the InterContinental Bali and the Holiday Inn Resort Baruna Bali. Indonesia is a priority market for the hotel group, which is laying a 20-hotel pipeline for 5,000 rooms, under its InterContinental, Hotel Indigo, Crowne Plaza, Holiday Inn and Holiday Inn Express banners.This new development contract confirms IHG's desire to expand the Hotel Indigo chain in Southeast Asia, where it will enter in 2014 with the opening of a Bangkok property. The brand currently has a network of fifty properties internationally.
