Hilton Worldwide announved the oepning of their 20th U.S. Home2 Suites by Hilton property. The site for the property is in Central City Philadelphia as part of a $60 million mixed-use project, with 9,750 square feet of retail and restaurant space. A brand dedicated to business travel and extended-stay, the hotel is across from the Pennsylvania Convention Center.The property is being co-developed and operated by the Philadelphia-based Wurzak Hotel Group. With 248 suites, this is the largest brand property in the portfolio. "We expect the hotel to be a flagship not only in our portfolio, but also for Philadelphia and the Home2 Suites brand", says Jake Wurzak, principal, Wurzak Hotel Group.
