InterContinental Hotels Group is pursuing UK expansion with three new Holiday Inn locations. The establishments include the Holiday Inn Express Edinburgh Airport (95 rooms), Holiday Inn Darlington - North A1M, Jct. 59 (80 rooms), and Holiday Inn Express London - Ealing (75 rooms).According to IHG's Chief Development Officer Robert Shepherd, "These investments in the Holiday Inn brand family reflect its success not only in Europe, but also globally as the brands continue to appeal to both investors and consumers in an increasingly competitive hotel market".The Edinburgh and Darlington locations are expected to open in spring 2014, while the London location is slated for spring 2015.
