After having announced its intentions earlier this year, InterContinental Hotels Group has entered the Holiday Inn brand into market in Mauritius with the Holiday Inn Mauritius Airport. Pascal Gauvin, IHG COO India, Middle East and Africa comments, "We've been looking forward to bringing Holiday Inn to Mauritius and today we welcome guests through the hotel's doors, as the island's popularity amongst holidaymakers and business travelers continues to increase".The hotel features 140 rooms. It addresses Mauritius' growing business travel community with 450 square meters of meeting space, including a boardroom and four meeting rooms. For leisure, the property offers gym and spa facilities, large terraces including a pool terrace with a stepped infinity pool. The Holiday Inn is only IHG's second establishment in Mauritius, after InterContinental Resort Mauritius.
