
The Hilton al Hamra Beach & Golf Resort has opened as the sixth Hilton hotel in Ras al Khaima emirate in the UAE, after two years of refurbishment. The property is considered a landmark, with an 18-hole championship golf course and views of the Arabian Sea with 500-meters of private beach."The striking fortress-style design and iconic status of the original hotel helped shape our conversion plans. We have carefully maintained the distinctive character of the property and successfully combined those traditional qualities with the modern hallmark attributes of Hilton Worldwide's flagship brand," says Rob Palleschi, Global Head, Hilton Hotels & Resorts.The hotel offers 265 rooms; including 181 villas and suites, 75 deluxe rooms and nine suites. Additional features include two pools, a children's club, and spa treatment rooms, a fitness center, and tennis courts. For business, there is an adjoining convention center for up to 800 guests.
