Since its announcement in spring 2011, the former Fontana Park Hotel has been transformed under the DoubleTree by Hilton brand. The hotel's 139 rooms have been updated to preserve original details, with new touches such as a waterfall in the interior courtyard, and the Mediterranean restaurant and bar lounge. Gonçalo Sousa, general manager, DoubleTree by Hilton Lisbon - Fontana Park expreses his pleasure at introducing the brand to the city: "We look forward to providing a warm welcome to guests and local residents who are familiar with our award-winning hotel, as well as those who are drawn to this exciting city for the first time".
