Hilton increases presence in Turkey

Hilton Hotels & Resorts has opened its second resort in Turkey, the 494-key Hilton Bodrum Turkbuku Resort & Spa in the Paradise Bay area of Bodrum.

The property was formerly known as Bodrum Princess Deluxe Resort & Spa and was previously managed by Princess Hotels & Resorts.Hilton Worldwide has had a presence in Turkey since 1955, with the iconic Hilton Istanbul. The company intends to almost double its portfolio in the country within 12 months, with 11 new openings this year.Having undergone a substantial refurbishment, the converted property is located 4 km from the harbor town of Turkbuku.For conferences and events, the hotel has a 1,200-sq.-m ballroom, three additional meeting rooms and a boardroom.Hilton Worldwide has had a presence in Turkey since 1955, with the iconic Hilton Istanbul.
