Hilton Worldwide is continuing aggressive development efforts via its DoubleTree brand internationally. The group has announced the opening of the DoubleTree by Hilton Jiaxing, the brand's 16th establishment in China. The hotel is owned by the Jiaxing Yongxin Development Co., Ltd.The 274-guestroom establishment is the first internationally-branded full service hotel in Jiaxing. It capitalizes on that position with access to both major business and shopping districts, and near both Shanghai and Hangzhou international airports.Facilities also include three restaurants, a nine-meter-tall pillared grand ballroom, and nine flexible meeting rooms. For those needing to unwind, the hotel also offers an indoor swimming pool, spa room, 24-hour fitness center and beauty center with hair treatment services.According to John Greenleaf, global head, DoubleTree by Hilton, the new hotel "reinforces the success of the DoubleTree by Hilton brand in China".
