
Already one of the most recognized names in the hotel industry of the Middle East, with with 3,000 roomsin the UAE alone, Hilton is further developing in the UAE with a conversion project in Abu Dhabi's new Capital District.The Hilton Capital Grand Abu Dhabi adds 271 guestrooms to the group's supply in the region, ideally located for business travel. The establishment offers access to both the Abu Dhabi's International Airport and NationalExhibition Center. In addition, the properties meetings and events facilities include a ballroom to accommodate 700 guests, a function froom for 500 guests, five large meeting rooms, two boardrooms, and a business center.Leisure travel, however, is not forgotten. Leisure facilities include an indoor and outdoor pool, a 24-hour fitness center, and a spa with15 treatment rooms, sauna and whirlpool. F&B options include seven different bars and restaurants serving international cuisine with panoramic views.According to Rudi Jagersbacher, president, Hilton Worldwide Middle East & Africa, "The strategy, implemented by the local tourism authority provides the perfect foundation for the hospitality sector to prosper and upscale hotels such as Hilton Capital Grand Abu Dhabi". Jagerbacher sees this as a virtuous cycle, with Hilton strengthened by Abu Dhabi's policies while the hotel is in turn supporting Abu Dhabi's tourism infrastructure.
