Hampton by Hilton expands in Turkey

Hilton Worldwide, a subsidiary of the Blackstone Group, is adding four hotels in Turkey to its roster under its Hampton by Hilton label in a deal announced at the end of June.

The newest signings consist of two franchised and managed agreements that amount to an investment of US$30 million. Hampton by Hilton Istanbul Kayasehir and Hampton by Hilton Gaziantep are management agreements, while Hampton by Hilton Rize and Hampton by Hilton Corlu are franchise agreements. Two other Hampton by Hilton hotels in Turkey in Bursa and Ordu are already under development and scheduled to open in the fourth quarter of 2011. This will increase the number of Hampton by Hilton hotels in Turkey to six and the total amount of Hilton brand hotels in Turkey to 34.In addition to expansion in Turkey, Hampton by Hilton also has hotel developments announded in Poland, India, Mexico and the U.K.In addition to expansion in Turkey, Hampton by Hilton also has hotel developments announded in Poland, India, Mexico and the U.K.
