General Hotel Management has signed an agreement with Indian developer Kohinoor Group to open a hotel in Mumbai. The Aayu Mumbai is set to open in December 2013.

The Aayu Mumbai will be located in the 50-story Central Tower of Kochinoor Square. As the hotel will be housed in the top five floors, it will feature views of the Arabian Sea and Shivaji Park.The Aayu Mumbai will offer 42 guestrooms ranging from 65 to 155 square meters in size, and including spa services. Dining will include L’Atelier de Joël Robuchon with tea lounge, pastry shop, and fine wines; a Japanese restaurant with a ramen noodle bar and sushi and sake counter; and also a rooftop bar with swimming pool and courtyard.This announcement comes after the previous signing for the 45-room Chedi Qutub. This hotel will be located in New Delhi, and opening offer the Aayu Mumbai in 2015.
