
Hilton Worldwide has signed a management contract to bring the first Hilton Garden Inn establishment to Brazil.
The Hilton Worldwide group has signed a management agreement with HDauff Empreendimentos Imobiliarios Ltda for the new Hilton Garden Inn hotel in São Jose. Adrian Kurre, global head, Hilton Garden Inn describes this expansion as "a tremendous milestone for the brand", offering Hilton accommodations to a new segment of travelers after having operated two group establishments in the country.The Hilton Garden Inn Sao Jose do Rio Preto will be part of a 33-acre multi-use development with residences, offices, restaurants, boulevard mall, bank agencies, a convention center and parking. The hotel will offer 134 rooms, a restaurant, the 24-hour Pavilion Pantry shop, a fitness center, and meeting space with an event lounge and a 24-hour business center.The existing Hilton Hotels currently operating in Brazil are the Hilton Belem and Hilton São Paulo Morumbi, with nearly 60 hotels and resorts open and welcoming travelers in Latin America. The Hilton Garden Inn Sao Jose do Rio Preto should open its doors in 2016.
