
Hilton Worldwide has announced the signing of two management agreements to signal the group's entrance into the Georgian market.
Hilton Worldwide is pursuing its development in Eastern Europe, entering Georgia with its Hilton and Hilton Garden Inn brands. The hotel announced the signing of two management contracs in the destination to locate its brands in the cities of Batumi and Tbilisi. In partnership with Tourinvest Ltd, l'hôtel Hilton Batumi should open its doors in summer 2014 on the shores of the Black Sea, with 247 rooms. Slated for 2016, the Hilton Garden Inn Tbisili with 165 rooms was signed with the LTD Chavchavadze 64a company."Georgia is a growing destination on the business segment as well as leisure, and we are delighted to have gotten these two distinct agreements to locate our international chain hotels in the destination", said Patrick Fitzgibbon, senior vice-president Development, Europe and Africa for the Hilton group.
