
The 2014 opening of the Andaz Tokyo will mark the entrance of Hyatt’s boutique-inspired Andaz brand in Japan, and the 9th Hyatt establishment in the country.
says Executive Vice President, Group President – Asia for Hyatt Hotels, Larry Tchou. “True to its destination, Andaz Tokyo will convey the well-tailored, refined sensibility of Japan as well as the vibrant, internationally eclectic spirit of its capital city.”The hotel will be centrally located in the Toranomon, a business and embassy district between the Shiodome district and the Akasaka and Roppongi areas which is a hub for multinationals. It will occupy the top 6 floors (eight in total) of a 53-storey mixed-use complex now under construction. The Andaz Tokyo will offer 164 guestrooms and sweets, a spa, and restaurant facilities, including an open-air bar and event space with outdoor seating on the penthouse level.
