The Fairmont Kuala Lampur will be the first Malaysian establishment of Fairmont Hotels & Resorts. The 62-story hotel will be located in the Kuala Lampur City Center development, adding 750 guestrooms to FRHI's global portfolio. In addition, the hotel will offer six dining outlets, 2,787 square meters of meeting and events space, a swimming pool, and health club and spa."Fairmont Kuala Lumpur is an important milestone for both our brand and for FRHI", says Jennifer Fox, President, FRHI International and Fairmont Brand. We're very excited to be entering Kuala Lumpur, a key gateway city in the region".The development comes after an agreement with CITITOWER SDN BHD, a joint venture between Qatari Diar Real Estate Investment Company and KLCC Sdn Bhd. Fairmont Kuala Lampur is expected to open in 2017.
