Jumeirah Group announced that it will be making a major expansion to its Dubai resort, Madinat Jumeirah. The project is expected to be complete in late 2015.

Madinat Jumeirah currently includes three hotels, but will be expanding come the end of 2015 in a project referred to as ‘Phase 4.’ The expansion will include a five-star hotel, a 45 villa complex, restaurants, a commercial center, and as a pedestrian precinct. The project’s hotel will offer 420 rooms with several international restaurants and other facilities.According to President and Group CEO of Jumeirah Group, Gerald Lawless, the project is a “natural extension” which “reflects the strength of the travel and tourism market in Dubai as well as the success of the Madinat Jumeirah resort.”
