"I worked for Bouygues for 7 years, including in the international arena. I continued with a great experience at Mac Donald's for 17 years where I had the chance to meet our General Manager Vincent Quandalle. After a period at LVMH for 4 years, I joined Vincent at B&B HOTELS 4 years ago."

How do you maintain such a high growth rate?

"We are obviously very pleased with the results of this growth, which is due to the work carried out by the teams. The idea is not to take our foot off the gas pedal by continuing to open more and more hotels but also by developing the number of available rooms at the same pace.

We had an exceptional year in 2022 with nearly 100 hotels opened in 14 countries, including some 60 in France. Provided that everything goes well, we have the same objectives for 2023. This should ensure that we continue to grow and open new markets. 2023 is the year in which the Danish market will open, and we also have strong ambitions in the UK with a dedicated team. Valerio Duchini has taken over as CEO of the USA to develop the American market. We have a target of 400 openings in the next few years.

When it comes to continuing to grow, all support services are involved. In terms of development and real estate, we have recruited a lot in recent years. We also made the decision to restructure this year and reorganize the development team. This is also in response to the fact that new construction-related matters are under pressure at the moment due to rising interest rates and construction costs.
