
Starwood Hotels & Resorts' entirely green extended stay brand, Element, has made its debut outside of US borders with the Element Vaughan Southwest in the Toronto area of Canada.
The Starwood Hotels group has brought its eco-friendly Element Brand outside of the United States to make its international debut in Vaughan, Canada, in the Toronto area. Previously, the brand existed in 18 markets in the United States, and therefore boasts an already significant followership and potential market for he 12-room Element Vaughan Southwest.This international debut commences a series of brand appearances around the world within the next few years. For 2014, the brand will enter Vancouver and Frankfurt, followed by a 2015 Asian debut in Suzhou, China, and a third hotel in Canada in 2016 with a Calgary establishment."We are thrilled to bring the Element Brand to Vaughan", says Starwood Vice President, Global Brand Management Paige Francis, "With a thriving business community just minutes from the airport and convenient to downtown Toronto, Vaughan is the perfect choice to take the Element concept global".
