
The Langham Hospitality Group has announced that Canada's largest hotel will be rebranded under Eaton, thereby introducing the brand to North America.
Currently the Delta Chelsea, the Toronto hotel will be rebranded to the Eaton Chelsea by Hong Kong's Langham, Hotel Group. The Eaton brand provides a value-for-money offer in a modern setting.The Eaton brand is currently operating in Hong Kong, Shanghai, and New Delhi, making the Eaton Chelsea the first of its kind in both Canada and North America. According to Brett Butcher, Langham chief executive, this is a "tangible development" of the group's financial commitment and long-term vision for North America.The soon-to-be Eaton Chelsea in Toronto is centrally located near the city's best shopping districts, theatres, nightlife, and other tourist attractions. It is Canada's largest hotel, a full-service resort with 1,590 guestrooms, five restaurants and lounges, and separate adult and family recreation areas and pools.A multi-million dollar investment is in place to beautify the exterior, refurbish the lobby and restaurant, and upgrade the banquet and meeting facility interiors.
