Dusit International is expanding into North America with DusitD2 Pasadena, which is also the first hotel under the company’s lifestyle brand to open beyond Asia Pacific.

The 136-key hotel, to be managed by Dusit, will be located in the commercial and financial district of Pasadena and will target both business and leisure guests. The property will be part of a mixed-use development that will also include offices, retail and restaurants.Dusit currently operates two hotels under the DusitD2 brand, in Chiang Mai and Pattaya, Thailand. Another DusitD2 is under development in New Delhi and is expected to open next year.The property is expected to open after extensive renovations in the third quarter of 2012.
