Hilton Worldwide is opening its first DoubleTree by Hilton hotel in Chile, and only the second group establishment in the country, expected for a 2014 opening. The development was secured through a franchise agreement with Hotelera Vitacura S.A.The hotel will be a new-build establishment offering 230 guestrooms in Santiago, the country's capital. In addition, facilities are expected to include a restaurant, a café, a bar/lounge, and 24-hour fitness.For the business travel market, the hotel will offer nearly 12,000 square feet of flexible meeting space, including offices for both day and long-term use, boardrooms, meeting rooms of various sizes, and a business centers.
