
The DoubleTree by Hilton Gatineau-Ottawa has become the first of the brand in Quebec, Canada, following a $3 million refurbishment project to update the hotel's guest rooms, public areas and amenities over the past 18 months. The hotel is being opened under franchise, owned and managed by Ken Pierre Investment LPD.The DoubleTree by Hilton Gatineau-Ottawa offers 125 guestrooms on a private golf course, with views of the Champlain Bridge. Additional amenities for relaxation include a full service spa and hair salon, indoor saltwater pool and hot tub. A quintessential "bleisure" establishment, the hotel also offers over 2,000 square feet of meeting space, including 19 flexible meeting rooms and a Grand Ballroom for up to 1,200 guests."We are delighted to introduce guests to our new look and name", says George Chaiban, general manager of DoubleTree by Hilton Gatineau-Ottawa.
