Hilton Worldwide is continuing the development of its DoubleTree brand with its introduction in the Canadian province of Saskatchewan. The former Regina Inn Hotel and Conference Center is owned and operated by SilverBirch Hotels & Resorts.The opening under DoubleTree by Hilton brand takes place after a multi-million dollar renovation and transformation project including the full refurbishment of its 235 guest rooms, 18,000 square feet of flexible conference space and a new full-service restaurant."As the city and provincial capital continues its growth in the telecommunications, agriculture, oil and natural gas industries, Regina has seen a heightened need for first-rate accommodations and conference facilities", says Steve Giblin, president and CEO, SilverBirch Hotels & Resorts.
