Hilton Worldwide has announced the opening of the DoubleTree by Hilton Hangzhou East, after a management agreement with owners Hangzhou Vangoo Investment Co., Ltd. The opening marks an important strengthening of the brands portfolio in the country. On Hilton's 25th anniversary operating in China, it reaches the 16th DoubleTree in the country."As the capital city of Zhejiang Province, Hangzhou is not only enjoying rapid economic development, but also establishing itself as one of the top tourist destinations in China", says Bruce McKenzie, Senior Vice President Operations, Greater China & Mongolia, Hilton Worldwide.The hotel offers 308 guestrooms in the Xiasha Economic & Technological Development Zone, with metro links to Hangzhou Xiaoshan International Airport, Wulin Square, the West Lake Scenic Area, and Xiasha University City. It also offers three restaurants, a cafe, and lobby lounge.
