Following an 8 million dollar renovation, InterContinental Hotels Group has opened the Crowne Plaza Phoenix Airport near Phoenix Sky Harbor Airport, in Arizona, United States. The renovations concerned a conversion from an independent establishment joining the brand.With this addition, there are now three Crowne Plaza establishments in the city. "We are pleased to expand the Crowne Plaza brand in a major U.S. market, especially in such a convenient location for business travelers", says Gina LaBarre, IHG's Vice President of Americas Brand Management, Upscale Brands.The establishment offers 290 guestrooms. Amenities include 18,000 square feet of meeting space including 13 meeting rooms and a ballroom, two restaurants, a 24-hour business center, a fitness center, and 24-hour airport shuttle service.
