Crowne Plaza makes Serbian debut

IHG has been present in Serbia since 1979 with the InterContinental Belgrade Hotel. However, owners Delta Holdings decided to reposition the property in the market by converting it to a Crowne Plaza hotel - the first of the brand in the country.The establishment will be distinguished as having the largest hotel ballroom and swimming pool in country. Additionally, the Crowne Plaza Belgrade offers 416 guestrooms, two restaurants, lobby bar, an exhibition hall, a full service business center, 12 meeting rooms and a fitness and spa center.According to GM Živorad Vasić, "This new and modern hotel will be the pride of Belgrade and Serbia and is extremely well equipped to welcome business and conference travelers to this city".IHG now has two hotels in Belgrade: the Crowne Plaza and Holiday Inn Belgrade.
