After extensive renovations, Club Med is once again opening the doors of the Rio das Pedras eco-resort in Rio de Janiero, Brazil, located in one of the world's most ecologically diverse rainforests, and nearly 2,000 feet of private beach. This project included renovations to 120 Deluxe Rooms, the restaurant, and convention center, as well as adding an adults-only pool.4 million USD were dedicated to renovating the convention center and main restaurant. The 1,000-guest capacity convention center which represents 55 percent of the property's operations, has been updated with state-of-the-art equipment to better accommodate corporate groups and business travel.Club Med has more than 71 properties in 25 countries.
