Choice Hotels International has announced 107 hotel openings worldwide over the third quarter of the year, adding more than 9,700 rooms to its network. These new developments have been made in 36 U.S. states and 11 other international destinations under all of the group's brands.Among the most notable openings are: Comfort Suite Fargo for 82 rooms in North Dakota, the Sleep Inn & Suites Hennessey for 50 rooms in Oklahoma, the Plantation on Crystal River (Ascend Collection) for 196 rooms in Florida, and The Gibson Hotel (Ascend Collection) for 252 rooms in Ireland.With these new openings, the total number of rooms in the portfolio of Choice Hotels International is close to half a million.
