Choice Hotels Group is expanding its portfolio in the UK & Ireland with five establishments across several cities, both new and returning.Two properties will open in England's Midlands region, the Quality Hotel Wolverhampton (60 rooms) and Quality Hotel Birmingham Airport/NEC (51 rooms), bringing the region's portfolio to seven.Choice also signed a franchise agreement with Akkeron Hotels Group Limited for two of its properties to join the Clarion Collection: the Clarion Collection Hotel Makeney Hall (46 rooms) in Derbyshire and the Clarion Collection Hotel Winchester Royal (81 rooms) in South Hampshire.The group has one opening in Dublin, the Gibson Hotel, Ascend Collection with 252 rooms.The expansion will see a total of 490 guestrooms added to the Choice portfolio.
